This summer has brought –what else?—some
crazy weather to good old Minnesota! J So Ben has been very prolific in the art department. I am so grateful that he,
at least, has an outlet for his creative energy!
Here is a sampling of his
imaginative works. When we cannot go outside because the skies are pouring or
the thunder is threatening to split the earth open, Ben is hard at work at his
drawing table J
Or when the sun is finally smiling on us, he can be found in the driveway,
chalking all manner of colorful creations.
Art is an outlet for him to break
free of the certain barriers that autism has imposed on him. I am glad that he
has this medium of communication with the outside world. May your world be
bright and colorful too!
